Long Distance Moving
"A long distance move is any move over 100 miles
from pickup to delivery."
Pricing – A long distance move is charged by the weight/cubic feet of the shipment and various other factors. Please call our office to properly quote you on your specific shipment.
Free Protection Materials – While your goods are in our care they will be wrapped in high quality quilted moving blankets. Each truck is equipped with enough moving blankets to cover all pieces necessary. The blankets are returned at the end of the move so there is no charge for them. If requested, blankets can be sold at the current market price.
Valuation – All long distance moves include free valuation of $0.60 per pound per article. What this means is your goods are covered for loss or damage at $0.60 times the weight of the item involved. If you are interested in purchasing additional insurance we have higher valuation plans available. Please ask a representative to assist you in finding the plan that works best for you.
